It's Great to Be Home™ workshops
Join the Bank of America team to learn about programs that may help bring homeownership within reach. Bank of America's Community Homeownership Commitment® brings together products and online resources that can help potential homebuyers buy homes of their own.
With one of the most generous grants in the industry, Bank of America offers up to $17,500 in combined down payment and closing costs grants (remember: grants are not a loan, so they don't need to be repaid). Bank of America grants may also be combined with externally provided home buying assistance. Grant program availability varies by market and may not be available in all markets.
Homebuyer grant programs
Our America's Home Grant® program offers a lender credit of up to $7,500 that can be used toward non-recurring closing costs, like title insurance and recording fees, or to permanently buy down the interest rate. The grant is available in select markets and the funds do not require repayment.Footnote 1
Our Down Payment Grant program offers a grant equaling 3% of the home purchase price, up to $10,000, whichever is less, to be used for a down payment in select markets. It is not available with all loan products. The funds do not require repayment.Footnote 2

A homebuyer education proof of completion or certificate will not be issued; this cannot be used as a condition of our loan programs.
