Home Affordable Loan Modification

If you're having trouble paying your mortgage, can no longer afford to make your monthly loan payments or have already missed a payment, you may be able to receive a more affordable mortgage payment under the Home Affordable Modification Program.

There are no fees and no minimum credit score requirements with this program.

Are you eligible?

Answer these 5 questions to find out if you are eligible:

  1. Is your home your primary residence?
  2. Is the amount you owe on your first mortgage for a 1-unit property equal to or less than $729,750?
  3. Are you having trouble paying your mortgage?
  4. Did you get your current mortgage before Jan. 1, 2009?
  5. Is your payment on your first mortgage (including principal, interest, taxes, flood and hazard insurance and homeowners association dues, if applicable) more than 31% of your current gross income?

Don’t forget to have your documents ready for easy reference.

Step 2

Qualify for 3-month trial modification
We will review your info, tell you if you qualify for the trial period, and give you the amount of your NEW trial mortgage payment.

Step 3

Complete the 3-month trial modification
Make your new mortgage payments for 3 months and send us the necessary forms and financial documents so we can verify your eligibility for a permanent loan modification.

Step 4

Get approved for your permanent loan modification
If you qualify, you will receive the documents needed to finalize your permanent loan modification.
